Summer Must Reads

Since it's summer, what better way to enjoy this lovely weather than with a fun summer read? Especially if these books involve a fun summer romance? Here I include some of my favorite books that I enjoyed reading during summer and I hope you will too!
I am a self-proclaimed book worm. I enjoy ending my day cozying up in bed and reading a good book. I like checking off my reading list during summer and winter break before heading back to school because once school starts I hardly have any time to read. I think my love for reading grew when I was about 10 years old. During elementary school, I remember my school held book fairs and I would always purchase at least one book. Judy Moody, Lizzie Mcguire, and American Girl books were my absolute favorite books during my childhood. My parents would take me to Borders and I was allowed to purchase one book. I would aim towards the Lizzie Mcguire books all the time. I recall telling myself that I would collect all the Lizzie Mcguire books. I made it my mission to make it happen, but sadly I stopped by the fifth book. As I got older, I became gravitated towards fantasy, dystopian, romance, contemporary, and paranormal genres. Today, I have quite a collection of books. However, I had to stop purchasing books due to not having any more room in my bedroom. I plan to purchase a large bookshelf soon, so once I have it I'll continue my never-ending collection! (I'll make that my new mission).

But with every perfect afternoon, sweet kiss, and walk on the beach, Anna can't ignore that the days are quickly growing shorter, and Will has to leave at the end of August. Cruel Summer by Alyson Noël
Synopsis:
" Having recently discarded her dorky image-and the best friend that went with it-Colby Cavendish is looking forward to a long hot season of parties, beach BBQs, and, hopefully, more hookups with Levi Bonham, the hottest guy in school. But her world comes crashing down when her parents send her away to spend the summer in Greece with her crazy aunt Tally. Stranded on a boring island with no malls, no cell-phone reception, and an aunt who talks to her plants, Colby worries that her new friends have forgotten all about her. But when she meets Yannis, a cute Greek local, everything changes. She experiences something deeper and more intense than a summer fling, and it forces her to see herself, and the life she left behind, in a whole new way. " - Books description
