Ivory...
One of my favorite things about the holidays is getting to wear festive outfits. Ivory and gold are my top two favorite colors to wear this time of year. Ivory gives that elegant and sophisticated impression, whereas gold screams holidays.

Sweater Weather...
Autumn is definitely of one of my favorite seasons of the year, along with summer. The only down side of living in Southern California is the constant feeling that it's summer all year round. The holidays don't really feel right without the appropriate weather to go along with it. I wish I lived in a place where I get to actually experience all the seasons. But who knows, maybe one day in the future I'll have the chance to move somewhere that can give me that...
Here I include some of my favorite knit sweaters for the autumn season. Enjoy!

My Skin Care Routine...
At a young age,
my mom embedded in me the importance of skin care. My mom despises the sun, so
she always makes sure to cover up as much of her skin as possible by wearing sunscreen, sunglasses, and signature floppy hats. As for me, I make sure to do the
same. When I wake up and before I head to bed, I always make sure to wash my face. Washing
your face is an important factor for clean and clear skin. It not only removes
makeup, but also dirt and debris that your face has collected throughout the
day.

Effortless...
Shirt: Forever 21 / Jeans: Jcpenney / Sandals: Nordstrom Rack / Bag: Steve Madden (Ross) /
Hat: Forever 21 / Sunglasses: Coach / Ring: Forever 21
Happy Tuesday! Here is a closer look of what I wore to Santa Barbara on Saturday. I went for something light and casual. I still cannot get over how much I love my hat. I'm wearing it as much as possible because once fall and winter starts, I'll have to wait until next summer to begin wearing it again.
What is one fashion item you cannot live without this summer? Please comment down below, I would love to know :)

Tangerine
Dress: Topshop / Shoes: Macy's / Sunglasses: Forever 21
I remember purchasing this dress about three years ago for a wedding. I fell in love with the intricate lacing around the bodice, and I love how it is elegant and classic while not being too revealing. I usually don't aim toward vibrant and bold clothing pieces. However, this dress was an exception. Maybe now I will be more open minded about wearing bright colors.

Maroon
Shirt: Forever 21 / Shorts: JcPenney / Shoes: Forever 21 / Rings: Forever 21 / Sunglasses: H&M / Necklace: Forever 21
Here is a look I wore out a few days ago. I enjoy going through the yelp app and looking up different places to visit. I came across a bookstore called BookOff. They sell used books, movies, vinyls, cds, and many more! My only goal was to look at the books. To no one's surprise, I left the store with a large pile of books, and all for an affordable price! I have spent a fair share of money on books online through out the years, but now I am going to make sure to stop by here first before buying books at a regular price.

July Favorites
And just like
that, July has come to an end…well almost. July flew by very quickly for me
that I almost forgot to plan for my monthly
favorites post! However, during mid-July I had already been using a few of
the same products constantly. This made it fairly easy for me to select what was going to be included in
this months favorites. I must say, this month I tried amazing
products and I cannot wait to share them with you.
Beauty:
Becca- Shimmering
Skin Perfector Pressed Powder in Opal $38
If you are
looking for a pigmented highlighter, this product is for you! I cannot describe
to you how beautiful this highlighter is. It gives the perfect amount of
shimmer and it makes your skin look incredibly dewy and glowy. This is
definitely a stable item for the summer.
Too Faced- Love Eye Shadow Palette $15
I went to Nordstrom
Rack one day and I came across a makeup section. I was quite surprised to find
great brands at an affordable price. Brands such as Too Faced, Urban Decay,
Tom Ford, NYX, and a few others that I cannot remember. The Love palette from Too Faced caught my
eye because of the beautiful eye shadow colors. I think these colors would be
perfect for the autumn and winter season. This month I have been using the shades cherish, devotion, and puppy love frequently.
As I was
cleaning out my makeup drawer the other day, I noticed that I have a low selection of blushes.
Therefore, I made it my mission to start buying more blushes. This month I have
been loving the Lorac blush in prism. It is a beautiful peach-pink color. It gives
a beautiful soft pigment to your cheeks while not being too vibrant.
Mayebelline- Dream Lumi touch Highlighting Concealer in Nude
Chair $5.59
If you have read
my June Favorites post, you would know that I like to try different concealers
quite a lot. This month I finally decided to try the lumi touch highlighting
concealer for the first time. I heard a lot of people talking and raving about
this product for long time, so I decided to try it for myself. I must say, this
concealer does brighten up my under eyes as well as give me enough coverage. I
love it!
Maybelline- Color Whisper Lipstick in Coral Ambition (discontinued)
Orange lips
have been a must-have for me this month. I think it is the perfect color for
the summer time. I’ve had this lipstick for a while now and it wasn't until
this month that I decided to wear it on my lips again. This lipstick is very
moisturizing as well as pigmented. It has a soft coral shade and its perfect if
you just want a soft tint on your lips and nothing too dramatic.
Revlon- Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Rendezvous (discontinued)
Unlike the
Color Whisper lipstick in Coral Ambition, this lip stain is quite on the
vibrant side. It is the perfect orange shade and it would look beautiful with a
dewy face look, especially with the Becca highlighter I mentioned in the
beginning. It is the perfect summer color!
Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge $6.99
Before purchasing
the real techniques sponge, I would always use a brush to apply my foundation.
When I would use a brush, I would have to brush and brush for quite awhile to
really blend my foundation into my skin. However, ever since I started using
the sponge my skin has looked incredible. The sponge allows the foundation to
really absorb into your skin making you face look flawless and natural. Quick
tip! Wet your sponge first and make sure to squeeze out the excess water in
order to get the best results.
Fashion:
Rugrats T-Shirt $12.99
Rugrats was my all
time favorite cartoon show as a child. So when I saw this t-shirt, I just had
to have it! (Even if this t-shirt was from the men’s section). Is it just me,
or does the men’s section of many stores have a wide variety of cool graphic
t-shirts? Honestly, this is probably the best t-shirt I ever owned.
Food:
Mrs. Thinster’s
Toasted Coconut Cookie Thins
These cookies are so good! Whenever I reach for a cookie, I can’t help but to always take a whiff of the inside of the bag. The smell of sweet coconut is amazing. These cookies are crispy thin, and most importantly delicious!

Casual
Dress: Forever 21 (similar version here) / Denim Shirt: Boohoo / Shoes: Asos (similar version here) / Sunglasses: Aerie / Cap: 49er Shop
Hello Everyone! Today's outfit is very simple and casual. There are some days when I don't feel like doing much with my outfit. Whenever I don't feel like going through my closet to choose a stylish outfit, I tend to always reach for a dress. I like wearing dresses rather than a top and bottoms because they are so easy to throw on. Just add some accessories and nice shoes, and you're good to go.
