Santa Barbara...

A friend and I decided to take a spontaneous trip to Santa Barbara on Saturday. I have never been so I was very excited to visit. We left early in the morning so we can have a whole day to enjoy our visit. Our first stop was the Historic State Street Plaza in Downtown Santa Barbara. The plaza is full of shops and restaurants to enjoy. We went inside a vintage shop called Punch Vintage for a little browsing. You can spend hours in there due to the endless amount of interesting vintage items. You can find anything from vinyls, cameras, shoes, clothes, books, comic books, purses, hats, paintings, home and kitchen decor, etc.

We then came across the Art Museum, so we decided to stop by as well. As we were about to pay for our admission, we showed the cashier our school ID in order to get a student discount. However,  as he noticed that we students, he decided to let us go in for free! :)
We also stopped at a very pretty bakery/cafe called Lilac Patisserie. What I like about this bakery is that everything is gluten free. I decided to try a vegan carrot cupcake and I must say, it was quite delicious.

Before heading home, we decided to end our trip by visiting the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden. The garden closes at 6pm, and we unfortunately arrived around 5:30pm. However, since they were about to close, the cashier let us in for free. We wandered around and took in the beautiful view of the mountains and landscapes.
